Terms of Sale
Terms are Net 30 days upon approval of your credit application. When credit has not been established, all shipments will be made on a COD or CBD basis. We also accept most major credit cards. Wire transfers are accepted for international orders.
Ordering
Orders received by 12:00 noon for in-stock items will be shipped the same day. (Does not apply to cut orders). Orders received after 12:00 noon will be shipped the following business day. When ordering please use product number, quantity, style and description. If material is not in stock, a back order will be generated. If it is necessary to back order any portion, we are not responsible for additional freight costs. All merchandise is subject to prior sale and all orders are subject to acceptance at our Chino office.
Minimum Orders
Because of the exorbitant cost of handling small orders a minimum order of $100.00 is necessary.
Pricing
Due to fluctuating prices, we are unable to provide price sheets with this catalogue. Please call or write for price quotes. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Routing
All shipments are routed UPS. If over 200 pounds our shipping department will use their best judgment if no particular routing is specified. Please notify us of your freight line of choice. All goods are sold FOB shipping point.
Shortages • Damages • Claims
Title to product passes from John Howard Company, Inc. to Customer on shipments from John Howard Company’s facility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by John Howard Company is John Howard Company’s responsibility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by Customer is Customer’s responsibility. All claims to John Howard Company, Inc. concerning goods must be made within 5 days after receipt of merchandise. No claims are allowed after goods are cut.
Product Returns and Warning Information
John Howard Company, Inc. carries and sells only the highest quality products. Please contact us immediately before returning any items so we may arrange to receive your merchandise. No credit will be given without written authorization. Returned goods must be in original condition and no returns are allowed after 15 business days. A 20% restocking charge may apply.

Breaking strength and working load capacities in our catalog and website are based on the product being new and being used under normal environmental conditions.
